Where do I find 2 single flights from Johannesburg to UK in early January?

Someone might like to know this: there are cheap OUT flights on etihad London to Jo’burg, long wait at stopover, but price around £300. No cheap returns until late Jan!

I’m guessing that you’ve only looked at direct flights so far…
Try to find flights to elswhere in Europe or the Middle East. Getting a flight to London from there would be quite easy. I’d look at all the Western European airlines as well as Emirates.

You will still find a few flights however, I have looked at availabilities and it is really a nightmare between 1 - 8Jan 08. I can tell you that you will not find cheap seats between these dates. My suggestion is that you make reservations as soon as possible to get at least something. Be prepared to pay anything from GBP 800 - 1000 for a return ticket.
