What is an adequate amount of time for tranferring flights at Los Angeles airport?

How long a layover would you be comfortable with when tranferring flights at LAX?

It really depends on where you are flying to and if it is on the same airline as the first flight.
If you are not sure, allow 45 min.-1 hour.

at least an hour. of course–it also matters if you’re changing terminals. allow more time if you are. it’s a big place. but anywhere i fly, the least amount of layover i want is an hour. you also have to consider where you’re flying in from. will there be unexpected weather delays? if so–and you come in late…that hour may be gone, or turned into ten minutes.
consider location and time of year you’re flying.
good luck.
i think 90 minutes is a good padded layover.

If you’re tranferring domestically, two hours is good especially if you’re transferring between flights of different airlines. Same airline, I would say one hour is more than adequate.
If you’re transferring to/from the international terminal, I would need three hours or more!

I would leave at least an hour and a half open for it, but an hour would probably be ok. Hopefully.

If I have a choice, I like atleast 45 mins to an hour at LAX.
