Should we have airline flights that are composed of all mothers and babies?
FlightsJD asked:
Babies drive most passengers nuts, so wouldn’t it be a good idea to have flights in which all passengers are mothers and their infants? Everybody would be happy.

Yeah, but if the “baby plane” crashes, everyone will think you’re a big jerk for coming up with the idea.

If you think this is such a great idea, why don’t you go out and purchase a few airplanes and start your own airline.

Not unless you want a discrimination suit filed against you. That is basing it on a flight or two you have had where there was problems. But not every baby or child will drive passengers nuts on a plane. Many fly without a problem at all. We have flown all over the place with our children and everytime been told how wonderful and quiet they were. They started when they were a few months old. And recently we did a flight for 10 hours, a 2 hour layover then did another 7 hours on a plane.
I have had more problems with adult passengers, kicking seats, recline their seat into my lap, playing music too loud, snoring, having the lights on when everyone is trying to sleep, using foul language, drinking, etc… than I have had with children.

Sorry to disappoint you but Aviation rules and regulations would not facilitate that. Firstly the aircraft would have twice the number of souls on board (illegal). Next, passengers travelling with infants are not allowed to sit in an emergency exit row. Additionally the aircraft is only equipped with two extra oxygen masks in each row, one located on either side so there can only be 1 infant on either side. Also that would be in violation of human rights as we would be discriminating.
I know the screams and kicking behind your seat is sometimes unbearable but guess what? You probably did that to some other passengers on flight when you were a baby. lol

Better yet, have flights only for impatient, intolerant grouches like you.

Can we take for granted that you are single and have no children??

I’ve had a lot more problems with annoying adults that kids on any flight I have ever taken.
So all the fathers have to take a separate plane?
We were all children once and I’m sure at some point you annoyed someone.
