What happens if I live in London and I buy airfare through a US travel agent that charges in USD vs. a UK one?
AirfaresRaul C asked:
I went on Expedia’s US and UK sites and compared prices for flights out of London. Airfare on the US site are considerably cheaper than the UK one? Does anyone know what would happen if I purchased airfare on the US site?

Create a video blog…instantly.
I don’t know but that is a very smart idea. I’ll be watching for answers.

I believe the dollar is converted, not quite sure on that. Just a mere guess.

I live in the UK and recently looked in to this. Basically no difference in fares. In pounds it was roughly 300 and when I checked a US site it was roughly 600 dollars.

not much, you just pay less! i done this before with expedia when i was going to Australia, America, Asia… just make sure you do currency converter before you buy a ticket! also, try air companies in America directly…com instead..co.uk
