I need software that can take out clips of a video. I have Sony Vegas but it is just to confusing to deal with.

   virtual dub is free. It’s not an editing program, more for conversion, but will enable you to remove clips from a video file and export it in different formats.

   Try “VCD Cutter” software

   you can use windows movie maker. when you add the video to the board, just decrease the size and a part of the clip will be cut.
