I got married in Las Vegas a few years ago and now want to divorce, I live in the UK. How do I go about this?

Not sure whether a UK solicitor can deal with the divorce. Also does it affect how the assets are dealt with? We have a young child and I am now sole carer. What are the guide lines of US law if this is the case?

   it does not matter where you were married as long as you got you marriage certificate, also noted was your marriage accepted in the UK, your divorce will be accepted in the US

   you’re legally married as far as UK law is concerned, so your solicitor will need to go through the same process as they would for any divorce.
