I was wondering if anyone has stayed in their luxury rooms. I got a good deal but I want some feedback on how they are. Is their buffet any good? Thanks

Don’t expect too much from Harrah’s LV. I’ve stayed at their deluxe rooms - nothing fancy IMO. The dinner buffet is good- the standouts being their extra large prawns and king crab legs. The lunch fare is about average for LV buffets.
What I did like about Harrah’s was their steakhouse (The Range) - great steaks and lobster tails. Pricewise, not too bad either. Oh- and you have to try their chocolate volcano dessert… fantastic!
With the arrival of several upscale hotels in Las Vegas (Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Wynn), those looking for true luxury tend to stay there. Harrah’s, I’m sorry to say, is a holdover from the earlier days in Vegas. Check out the gambling casino- mostly older people playing slots.

Hi,
I stayed at Harrah’s three years ago and loved it. The buffet was great, the food was fresh considering it is a buffet. I had a regular room but was still very impressed. Harrah’s had a huge remodel about four years ago and it is very nice and clean!! I hope you enjoy you’r stay.

At Harrah’s and most other LV hotel/casinos “deluxe” usually means you have a view of something other then AC units, parking garages or the alley access for delivery trucks and garbage trucks.
I would ALWAYS go for the view. Even if you aren’t in the room that much. Nothing like getting back to the room at 4 a.m. and then being woke up at 6 a.m. with the garbage trucks picking up the big dumpsters then slamming them back down on the concrete. “CLANG, BANG, SLAM”. Doesn’t do any favors for a hangover either.

Hi I’ve stayed in their luxury rooms as well. As with all casinos, you must walk through the casino to the back to find the guest elevator. Our room had a strip view which as nice. I was in vegas last August and tried the Buffet (much to my dismay) and it was horrid. It used to be fairly nice but the food was bland and cold. It wasn’t cheap either. I think it was about $20 ea and I’d rather sit at a table and be waited on for $20.
Good luck and have fun!!!

Their rooms are okay–rather average for Vegas. I slightly disagree with the comments on their buffet which I think is slightly below average for Vegas but not terrible and probably much better than most cities in the U.S.
Also, here is a tip that could save you money when dining at Harrah’s. Tix 4 Tonight has booths that sell discount show tickets. What many people don’t know is that they also sell discount tickets for dining and that many Harrah’s restaurants are included such as the Range steakhouse.
To the best of my knowledge, there is only one website that talks about these discounts which vary from day to day. If you see some discounts you might like, check with the booths to see if they are available. They can save you a decent amount of money.
