Arrive in Vegas May 18th. when should I book accommodation?
AirfaresJo B asked:
We will be back for our second visit in a few weeks but I still havent booked accommodation. I worked out a quick budget before I convinced my husband to book flights but everyday prices change and last time we just fluked a really good (cheap I mean) deal so not sure whether to just bite the bullet or hold off for a wee bit longer. Unfortunately (because of price only) we need to be there for the weekend so dates are 18-22 May. Any ideas? I am searching all the usuals daily (if not hourly) eg expedia, orbitz, priceline etc….

I’ve been to Vegas and stayed a few times. Depending on your budget there are cheap places to stay on the strip such as Circus Circus, Tropicana, or check out the Super 8 Nellis motel…its not on the strip but is not that far away either. I searched the dates and the cheapest I found on hotelscheap.com. If you don’t mind the drive stay in Primm…its only about $25.00 per night (the last time I stayed there, last year) at the Primm Resort and Casino…been there it is really nice and there is a mall on the first floor of the resort!!! There is also a small Bonnie and Clyde museum there inside the resort!!!

Last November when the rates for May were at their lowest would have been a good idea.
All I have to say is ouch. Those dates have some very ugly rates. I hope you weren’t counting on a 4 star hotel for under $100, even the Riviera was $250 a night.
The best deals I could find for those dates were on unusual since usually has slightly better rates. I didn’t check the other 2 usually have better deals but you might give them a try.
i4vegas rates for May 18th - 22nd
Vegas Club - $52
Plaza - $56
Binion’s - $62
Orleans - $94
Sahara - $131
Golden Nugget - $181
Travel Worm
Fiesta Henderson - $70
Boulder Station - $115
Sam’s Town - $118
You can access every LV hotel/casino’s web site from here to compare rates. “VEGAS INFO” >Hotels & Casinos
If you just have to have a 4 star you might give the Luxor or Golden Nugget’s web sites a try.
Luxor online promotion code “PGET21″
Golden Nugget
